Connected Medical Solutions (also known as My Emergency Doctor) is Australia’s leading emergency telemedicine provider. Since 2016, our team of Emergency Doctors (FACEMs) and GPs has delivered virtual care to rural hospitals, aged care facilities, and other organisations—especially where medical access is limited.
The Opportunity
Our GPs enjoy a diverse and rewarding caseload, ideal for those passionate about rural and regional medicine.
Services include:

Virtual Admission Service (VAS): Providing inpatient management as a ward doctor for low-acuity patients in smaller hospitals. Previous experience in small hospital or rural settings is highly valuable.

Aged Care (RACFs): Acting as the primary GP team for residents, delivering ongoing care and clinical oversight. This role is offered on a fixed hourly rate, with no Medicare billing or administrative requirements.

Chronic Disease Management: Supporting remote communities with the ongoing management of chronic health conditions, ensuring continuity of care where it’s needed most.

Skills & Requirements

Current AHPRA registration

FRACGP or similar preferred

Indemnity policy covering telehealth
